Thanksgiving Day classes
I will be continuing with my tradition of teaching classes on Thanksgiving day.
This is another option for celebrating this holiday in a healthy and playful way!
As a Thank-you to all.... I will also discount classes all week!
Thursday, November 22nd:
10am -11am Feldenkrais (Awareness through movement) 1hr $15
11:15am - 12:45pm Yoga (all levels) 1.5hrs $20
Both classes $30
Open to all....feel free to invite a friend or family member to come along!
P.S. November 19th......*Monday eve Yoga 6-7:15pm,
and November 21st.... *Wednesday morning Feldenkrais 9:15am -10:15am &
*Wednesday morning Yoga 10:30am -11:45am.....

Transitions into Fall & Winter
Qi Gong workshop series continues

Subtle and deep, it can be practiced by people of all ages and activity levels with many health benefits. In this series of 2 hr classes we will focus on Qi Gong movements that help to support our bodies as the seasons change.
The first
hour will be dedicated to learning and refining various Qi Gong
movements to deepen our understanding and practice. The second hour will
be a guided flowing practice session to support our experiential knowing
and somatic learning. My intention is to establish an on-going Qi Gong
study group to encourage and support home practice that will meet once a
month.
You are welcome to join in if you have not attended the previous classes.

Fall 2012 In-Town Retreat
November 10th & 11th
Saturday & Sunday mornings

Focus for both morning sessions will be:
Integrating the upper and lower body: shoulder and pelvic girdles
This workshop will combine the traditional arts of Yoga & Qi Gong......
with the eloquence of the Feldenkrais method of Somatic education.....
to help us to get moving without over-doing!
Saturday morning will be Feldenkrais & Qi Gong.....gentle movement...open to everyone
In this session we will incorporate Feldenkrais floor work and standing Qi Gong exercises to relax and open the shoulders while freeing the neck and upper back. We will also explore various movements with the hips and lower back to connect through the whole spine and coordinate the relationship between the pelvic and shoulder girdles. This class will help to improve posture and balance and encourage deep relaxed breathing.
Sunday morning will be Yoga asana.....all levels welcome
In this session we will continue to explore the same focus of releasing the neck and shoulders, while using Yoga postures. We will also practice sitting and standing asana to connect the pelvis and shoulders through the whole spine. We will incorporate postures for hip and hamstring flexibility and learn how to strengthen the core and lower back, while letting go of unnecessary effort and tension.
You can come to one or both sessions:
Each session $50.... drop-ins are welcome
Early registration discount: Full workshop paid by Wednesday, November 7th... $90
