It is wonderful to practice outdoors in nature when weather permits. I thought for Summer we could try something different and practice outside. This studio opens out into the garden, so we can practice under a cover if weather is not optimal……. and still be open to the outdoors!

This workshop is a great opportunity to move into the new year in a healthy and relaxed way! In January we will continue our focus on Qi Gong movements especially helpful for the cold and damp weather of the Winter season. Emphasis will be on warming and nurturing the Kidney function, which is connected to the health of lower back and legs. Qi Gong also enhances general health and vitality and reduces stress, while integrating body & mind.
In March we will switch the focus to supporting our bodies, as we transition into Spring...... a season of more light and warmth.

This workshop will combine the traditional arts of Yoga & Qi Gong......
with the eloquence of the Feldenkrais method of Somatic education.....
to help us to get moving without over-doing!
Saturday morning will be Feldenkrais & Qi Gong.....gentle movement...open to everyone
In this session we will incorporate Feldenkrais floor work and standing Qi Gong exercises to relax and open the shoulders while freeing the neck and upper back. We will also explore various movements with the hips and lower back to connect through the whole spine and coordinate the relationship between the pelvic and shoulder girdles. This class will help to improve posture and balance and encourage deep relaxed breathing.
Sunday morning will be Yoga asana.....all levels welcome

Saturday, September 15th through Wednesday, October 10th
Next 6-week series starts Monday, October 15th
One Saturday skipped between series, so no classes on Saturday, October 13th
Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome
4-Week Fall Class Schedule:
Monday evening:
6:00 -7:15 pm Integrated Yoga studies (all levels) beginners welcome
Wednesday morning:
8:00-9:00 am Zen Meditation & Qi Gong (all welcome) no fee
9:15 -10:15 am Feldenkrais (Awareness Through Movement) open to everyone (gentle)
10:30-11:45 am Integrated Yoga studies (all levels) beginners welcome
Saturday morning:
9:30 -10:30 am Feldenkrais (Awareness Through Movement) open to everyone (gentle)
10:45 am-12 noon Integrated Yoga studies (combined levels):
Some previous Yoga/movement experience is recommended.
4 week rates:
1 class/week $65
2 classes/wk $105

Transitions into Fall and Winter

Subtle and deep it can be practiced by people of all ages and activity levels with many health benefits. In this series of 2 hour classes we will focus on Qi Gong movements that help to support our bodies as the seasons change.
You are welcome to join in if you have not attended the previous classes.

I canceled 2 classes in this series: Saturday, June 2nd and Monday, June 4th.
If that affected your attendance I adjusted class series rates.... see below.
Below are class fees for the 4 week series.
I have prorated the fee schedule in accord with the classes I canceled to include full multiple class discount.
Wednesday morning class schedule will not be effected.....if you are signing up for only Wednesday there is no fee change.You can also choose to make up the missed class or classes and pay the usual rate.
