- Treya Marie Forlenza LMP, has been involved in the movement arts for over 30 years. Her extensive and diverse background includes dance, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, yoga, continuum, Zen meditation and the Feldenkrais method of somatic education. Her studies have taken her on a multicultural journey studying ethnic and modern dance forms, martial arts and spiritual practices. She has also studied abroad in both China and Japan. Treya has been teaching in Seattle since 1989 and is the founder of The Moving Space.She currently teaches ongoing classes and maintains a private practice in individual bodywork. She is a licensed massage practitioner certified in Shiatsu and Feldenkrais and trained in Cranio-Sacral Therapy. Treya teaches retreats and workshops locally and internationally in Integrated Movement practices combining various movement modalities with an emphasis on awareness.
